Last night I went to see Russian scifi/fantasy thriller Night Watch. If you recall I posted the Washington Post review here. I really enjoyed it, and I am very interested to see what the next film of the trilogy has in store. ( A few more quick thoughts under the cut )

I went to see 'Something New' today, and I loved it. Sure, the plot follows the typical romantic comedy formulas, and the ending is a foregone conclusion, as always, but I loved it anyway. One of the reasons I liked it is because it features an interracial romance, and I'm always pleased to see this tackled without it becoming a ridiculous object ( Read more... )
